Vanessa is originally from Cleveland and relocated to Columbus to be closer to her family for companionship and care. Throughout her life, she has been a dedicated worker — working as a cake decorator, selling Avon, and serving her community. She is a consistent Red Cross donor and volunteers at the senior center. Even now, if you mention liking something of hers, she encourages you to take it. She adores her cat Neko, whom she rescued from the Defiance County Humane Society in 2022. Her favorite activities now include family dinners with her son, sister-in-law, and three grandsons. She also enjoys her retired life, playing solitaire and sharing laughs while watching Family Feud. She is grateful for the full-circle support of care from the community and her neighbors.
